First Year Orientation
The new batch of Balaji Law College students had the privilege of attending the Induction Programme by former Chief Justice of India, Justice Y.V. Chandrachud on 11th August 2003. It was a student oriented speech where Justice Chandrachud expressed his indebtedness to the institution from where he studied law and also to the teachers who taught him. Further he assured the students that they are indeed lucky to have such an excellent Principal and went on to elaborate on some interesting events, incidents and turning points in his life which made him what he is today.
Whilst delivering a truly inspiring speech, he also gave a very friendly advise to the students to enjoy life and nurture good hobbies which develop the mental faculties.
He impressed upon the students that to become successful in the law field, one has to work hard and read a lot- not just law but also good books on other subjects by eminent writers.
