- Completed her LL.M in International Commercial
Law from UK.
- Completed her LL.B at ILS. Law college Pune.
- Completed research in International Trade
and Environment in OXFORD and CAMBRIDGE.
- Honoured by ODASS (Overseas Development Administrative
Scholarship Scheme) Award, a full Scholarship
of Rs. 18 lakhs approx. from the Association
of Common Wealth London and the British Government
for doing LL.M in International Commercial Law
from UK.
- Represented India and Department of Law at
the University of Nottingham at UK to the conference
of Common Wealth Countries on “Legal Aspects
of Globalization” organized by the British
Institute of Comparative Law, held at Queen
Elizabeth Cumberland Palace, Windsor, London,
April,1998, where she had an unique opportunity
to see the Queen Mother.
- She has secured Gold Medal in various British
Council Scholarships, Felix Foundation and nominated
by LILA POONAWALA FOUNDATION for higher studies.
- She has worked on “Rehabilitation Project
for AIDS children” (Snehalaya Project)
in Toronto Canada, representing at Ontario Human
Rights Commission, and Human Resources Development
Centre, Canada.
- She was the only one privileged to be invited
from all over the Maharashtra for the elite
ceremony of the opening of “New Canadian
Consulate General” and had a discussion
with Prime Minister Jean Chretien (Canada) about
the holding of Third meeting of Indo-Canadian
Legal Forum, involving the Supreme Courts of
the two Countries.
- She was a lecturer in ILS law college and
Ford Foundation(U.S.A) where she taught international
law.
- She taught International Commercial Law to
masters in International Business at Symbiosis
Foreign Trade, Pune(2000-2001).
- She also taught Practical Training and Court
Procedure to Law students in Yashwantrao Chavan
Law College, Pune(2001-2002).
- Researched on “Teaching Conscious Legal
Education” for one academic year under
Ford Foundation Grant(U.S.A). Completed Research
project on “Hydro Thermal Power Projects
in India”.
- She also did a research project on “Trade
and Environment” focusing greening of
World Bank, WTO, GATT and NAFTA.
- She has conducted various research projects
on local and International level assigned by
law college.
- She is an active member of Indian Society
for International Law, New Delhi
