Dr. Kamasai S.V.M.
M.A. (Soc.), M.A. (Pub. Adm.), M.L. (Res.), Ph.D. (Law)

Dr. Kamasai S.V.M. completed M.L.(Res) in Constitutional Law and International Law from SV University, Tirupathi, AP. He is multidisciplinary academician; along with legal expertise with Masters degrees in Sociology and Public Administration from Andhra University. His doctorate is on “Custodial Violence and Human Rights with special reference to the state of Andhra Pradesh “from Osmania University.

He joined Balaji Law College as Principal in January 2015 with a vast experience of more than 30 years. He commenced his academic career as full time lecturer in 1983 in DSR Hindu College of Law Machalipatnam, A.P. Thereafter, he served as In-charge Principal from 2008-2010 in PRR law college, Hyderabad. Further he assumed the office of the Principal of MVPS Law College Nashik, Maharashtra in 2010 and continued till January 2015. He has conducted various free legal aid and literacy camps in various villages and has guided the LL.M. dissertations.

He has also mentored students participating in national level and state level Moot Court Competitions. He has participated and presented papers in national and state level seminars and has also judged various state level moot court Competitions and chaired the sessions of state level seminars in various Law Colleges, delivered guest lectures in various organizations and institutions like Bharat Heavy electrical, Jawaharlal Nehru technological University, National Institute of Co-operative training and research, AP state excise academy and Maharashtra Police Training Centre Nashik etc.

He served as Panel member of Maharashtra Maha Lok Adalat in the District court of Nashik Maharashta. Organized a State level Seminar in MVPS law College Nashik on changes, trends and challenges in legal education. Published articles in the leading law Journals and participated in radio talks on law subjects like Euthanasia, Fundamental Duties. Currently he is publishing a book on the law of Transfer of Property for law students.


Mrs. Swatee Yogessh
(B.S.L., LL.B., LL.M., NET)

Mrs. Swatee Yogessh completed her masters in Corporate Laws and Constitutional Laws in 2003. She joined Balaji Law College as Vice- Principal in March 2012 after working as Assistant Professor in Symbiosis Law School, Pune for five and half years since September 2006 . Before that she had served as a full time faculty in Balaji Law College, Pune. She has lectured on Jurisprudence, International Trade Law, Comparative Company law, Interpretation of Statutes and Business law to undergraduates as well as Law and Management post graduates.

She has participated and presented papers in national and international seminars.

She visited Leibniz University, Hannover, Germany as a research scholar under the Erasmus Mundus scholarship for a period of three months under the aegis of Symbiosis Law School, Pune. During her visit she presented a paper on "Indian Legal System" in Le Havre University, France, and presented a colloquium on Corporate Scandals in India and EU.

She has guided LL.M. dissertations in the area of Business Laws, Corporate Laws and Family laws.

She has drafted self learning materials for the Government and private institutions. She has been invited as a resource person in NGOs and to judge various Moot Court competitions.

Her research interest is Corporate Law (national and international) and Jurisprudence.

Ms. Aarti Tayde
(M.A., LL.B., LL.M, NET)

Ms. Aarti Tayde completed her Masters in Law (Criminology) from Amravati University in 2006, she is also Masters in English Literature from Amravati University. She joined Balaji Law College, Pune in 2007 as an approved fulltime faculty, after serving as visiting lecturer in Dr. B.R.Ambedkar College of Law, Nagpur (Dhiksahbhumi). She has delivered lectures in law subjects in tutorials run by Jamia Milyia Islamia for the aspirant students of Competitive Examinations. She has lectured on Law of Crimes, Evidence, Code of Criminal Procedure, Contract, Interpretation of Statute and Legal History.

She has participated and attended various seminars and Faculty Development Programmes. Her Research interests are Criminology and Victimology.

Ms. Sujata Tikande
(B.S.L.LL.B., D.LL, LL.M, NET)

Ms.Sujata Tikande completed her Masters in Business Laws and Administrative Laws .She joined Balaji Law College after working as full time lecturer for one academic session in Modern Law College, Pune. She has lectured on Constitutional Law, Banking Law and Interpretation of statutes etc. She has done Diploma in Labour laws.

She is enrolled as Ph.D. candidate under University of Pune. She has attended various seminars and conferences at the state and national level.

Her area of research is Rights of Women and Feminist Studies.

Mr. Vaibhav Sonule
(B.S.L. LL.B, LL.M, D.C.L, NET)

Mr. Vaibhav Sonule completed his masters in Business Laws from Symbiosis University in 2010. He joined Balaji Law College in July 2014. He has served three years as Assistant Professor at MIT Commerce College, Pune followed by Alliance University, Bangalore. He also has corporate experience for a year. He has lectured on Constitution of India, Family Laws, Law of Torts and Business Laws.

He has participated in various National and International conferences. Also he has attended various seminars and workshops on Business Law and Faculty development. Now he is pursuing PhD in Business Law from Symbiosis International University.

Mr. Chetan Dixit
(B.S.L.LL.B., LL.M., M.A.(Pol. Sci) NET and SET in Law)

Mr. Chetan Dixit completed his Masters in Criminal Laws and Business Laws. He joined Balaji Law College in 2014. He has lectured on , Legal Writing, Legal history

He is also Masters in Political Science from Tilak Maharashtra University, Pune. His research interest is Criminal Law and Corporate Law. He joined Balaji Law College after working as an Associate Attorney at Mindcrest India Pvt Ltd.

Dr. Sapna Bansal
(B.A.LL.B., LL.M, DPCRCL, PhD (Law))

Dr. Mrs Sapna Bansal completed her B.A.LL.B, LL.M, Ph.D (Law) from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. She joined Balaji Law College in 2014 after serving as permanent lecturer in Lovely Professional University, visiting faculty at Institute of Law, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. She has lectured on Family law, Law of crimes, Law of Contract, Intellectual Property Rights etc.

She has done Diploma in Patents, Copy Rights and Cyber Laws. Her topic of research was “Violence against Women in India- A critical study with special reference to Haryana”.
