Supreme Court Visit
As a part of practical training program Balaji Law College students visited the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India on the 21st of Feb., 2008. In rotation each group visited the Court Rooms of the Supreme Court, High Court, Patiala Court and the Teeshazari Court. Students got a golden opportunity to observe the various benches of the court including the bench headed by Hon’ble Sri K. J. Balakrishnan, Chief Justice of India. The opportunity to sit and observe the court proceedings brought great impact in the minds of our upcoming lawyers.
 
The students got an opportunity to have a learning conversation with eminent personalities in the premises of the Hon’ble Supreme Court such as, Justice J. M. Panchal, Justice R. V. Ravendram, Sri. G. E. Vahanvati- Solicitor General of India, Sri Milon K. Banerjee- Attorney General of India, Adv. Sri S.G.Husnain - Senior Councel, and Adv. Anup Pandey.
 
 
Jail Visit - Yerwada, Pune
In continuation to the series of practical training program Balaji Law College organized jail visit to the historical Central Jail Yerwada, Pune in January 2008. Students got an opportunity to visit  the Gandhi yard, were Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Motilal Nehru were imprisoned in the British era. They also observed the condition of prisoners in the aforesaid open air prison; work allotted to them and their standard of living. Students took keen interest in various activities and interviewed the jail authority.
